Cupcakes & Friends
  
 Gemma emailed me quite a while ago and wanted to do a shoot with her two housemates/best friends so that they had photos to remind them of their friendship through good and bad times. So we set a date and met up at their very nice apartment near the Swan river. Gemma baked cupcakes (YUMMY!) and we started makeup at 9am.

 
 Marilyn did the makeup, Yay! Thank you for staying on to do two different looks for us! She had to rush off the work when we headed to the beach. 
The first look was simple, casual, sweet with denim styled clothes, we shot at the jetty/river nearby. And the second was a darker, more grungy, rock chic look where we went to shoot for an hour at the rocks near Cottlesloe beach. 
Marilyn had to do the second look in less than 20 minutes for the 3 girls! A job well done though.
 
 This was one HOT day and I'm not only referring to the models and clothes. Haha! We were baking under the scorching hot sun! 
I look like such a kid next to these three beautiful hot girls!

Preview of  last week's shoot! I spend most of my editing time deciding between colours and tones. I love it but sometimes when there are too many possibilities, it can be quite...a headache.
We did 9 outfits in about 3 hours. Can't wait to finish the photos and show you my favourites :)

If I don't think of you, I feel guilty because it has only been slightly more than a month that I had to let you go and if I heal that quick, it seems as though you were never a big part of my life and that's not true. You were one of the best thing to have happened to me this year. 
If I think of you, my heart aches so much because i can never forget seeing you in so much pain and there was nothing I could do, and I had to tell the vet I don't have that much money to save you, and to tell her we have to let you go. I have already called it quits for you, so I could not have expected you to fight harder.

If I am already having such a hard time coping with losing my dog, I don't know how would I ever be able to cope with losing a loved one be it a family or a friend. I have serious issues with dealing with death i know.

All I know is absence is painful.

So all my family and close friends need to do is, to live forever to spare me the pain. Thank you! Much appreciated.

Behind the scenes:
This was the first hot HOT day for shooting! Yay, skipped spring and dive head on to summer. I wore jeans and a black tee and almost died of heatstroke. It was scorching hot, so we only shot for an hour.
Aleisha bought the cute outfits for the shoot, I love the cream coloured corset, so pretty! We decided to shoot at Kings Park where there was a fire earlier in the year (this year is just so eventful huh). Thankfully greens have started growing where the fire was so we got a good mixture of colours. Hehe!
